Privacy notice

This is what happens to the details you give us when you order. It is short because we do very little with them.

Who holds your details

Luwenzo BV, [registered address] ([company number / VAT number]), is the controller. Write to privacy@luwenzo.example or call +32 3 000 00 00.

What we collect, and only when you send it

The order form asks for your name, phone number and email address, and for the address the goods go to. The configuration travels with it — your measurements, the fabric and profile you chose, the options, whether you asked us to fit it, and the price we calculated. There is a box for anything we should know.

We do not see or hold your card details. Payment is taken through a payment provider on their own pages; we are told whether it succeeded, not what you paid with.

We also record when the request arrived, which page it came from, which language that page was in, any campaign parameters in that page’s address, and your browser’s user-agent string. That is how we tell which advertising actually produces work, which language to call you back in, and how we recognise automated submissions.

We do not set advertising or analytics cookies on this site, and there is no third-party tracking script on it.

Why, and on what basis

To make what you ordered, take payment for it, deliver it, and fit it if you asked us to. That is performance of a contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The campaign and user-agent details are our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in knowing what our advertising costs and in keeping the form free of spam.

We will not add you to a mailing list off the back of an order, and we do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Who else sees it

Our email provider carries the order to our workshop and the confirmation to you. Our payment provider handles the payment itself. The manufacturer — Barida — receives the measurements and the colours, because the tracks are cut to your opening, and the courier receives your name, address and phone number so they can deliver. Where we use a customer-records system, the order is stored there. Nothing is transferred outside the EEA except where one of those providers does so under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Orders that are never paid for: twelve months, so we can pick the conversation up if you come back to it. Completed orders: seven years, because tax law requires it and your five-year motor warranty runs against the order. Ask us to delete an unpaid order sooner and we will.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, deletion, restriction of what we do with it, or a machine-readable export. You can object to our use of the campaign and spam signals described above. Email privacy@luwenzo.example and we will answer within a month.

If we get it wrong you can complain to your national supervisory authority — in Belgium the Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, in the Netherlands the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
